Brimstone
Not nearly as good as Quicksilver, so don’t expect the same enthralling read. It does return to the dark, emotionally charged territory the author is known for, offering another intense romance shaped by trauma, danger, and morally complicated desire. But somehow it doesn’t hit the same and seems to drag and get confusing in some places. It doesn’t feel as fully developed as it should and leaves you feeling like you missed something. Overall an ok read that lacks cohesion. Curious what the third book in the series will be like!
