Wuthering Heights

Wuthering Heights
Solid two stars because it’s an interesting read, but it’s also a tough read that really seems to drag at time. Be prepared for that old-style writing that sometimes has to be re-read to make sense. While the ending is sort of happy, don’t expect to feel inspired. The characters are all horrible people, and the book leaves you with an overall kind of ick for human nature. The love stories are superficial and poorly developed, so you end up wondering why in the world all this drama was necessary in the first place.
