Dove right into this one without knowing it was part of series, but, as it turned out, that didn’t really matter. I disagree with those who say you need to read the other books in the series first. This one definitely mades me want to put the rest of the series on my list! Wicked Dreams is an atmospheric mystery that keeps the reader engaged – not waiting for something to happen. The setting is so eerie and really adds to the vibe. The blend of supernatural and procedural policing is a mix that reminded me of some of Stephen King’s books, though not with the blend of horror. Maybe your next read for a rainy day!
